Today is the first day of the Chinese New Year. There are apparently three ways to refer to this year: 1) Year of the Dog 2) Year of bingxu and 3) year 4703 on the Chinese calendar. It just so happens that I was born in the Year of Dog, so I feel a special bond to it. I also feel old since it comes around every 12 years and this is my 2nd year of the dog since I was born (not counting my year of birth).
How did you celebrate the New Year? I did it by sleeping in until 11:30 and then playing 5 hours of World of Warcraft. This game is far to addicting! I feel like I should be outside or at least doing something productive rather than playing a MMORPG all day. Oh well, the way I see it is that I am okay as long as I never become like this: "Fear of Girls" (video hosted on google video).
